About the Workshop
The Humans Behind This Workshop
Falozi records and organizes a single seasonal outdoor fitness workshop, built from personal trail and open water experience rather than a certification program. There is no live coaching offered here and no gear sold through the site.
Why Recorded
Why a Recording Instead of Live Coaching
Live coaching requires scheduling, group sizes, and ongoing availability, none of which fit a workshop meant to be watched whenever a season actually arrives. Recording it once let the material stay focused on trail and shoreline conditions instead of calendar logistics.
A recorded format also means the same session plays the same way for everyone who watches it. There is no upsell added between the first viewer and the hundredth, because there is nothing being sold beyond access to the recording itself.
Field Notes, Not a Textbook
How the Content Was Actually Built
The seasonal breakdowns come from years of personal trail running, open water swimming, loaded hiking, and winter walking on public land across several states. Notes taken after those outings, not a textbook, shaped what ended up in each recorded session.
Where the workshop references the National Recreation Trails database or specific trail difficulty markers, that information was checked against public agency sources at the time of recording. Trail conditions change, so the recordings point people toward how to check current information rather than presenting old notes as permanent fact.
Boundaries
What This Workshop Is Not
- Not a personal training or coaching service
- Not a gear review site or an affiliate storefront
- Not a substitute for a map, a weather check, or local trail alerts
- Not updated in real time once a session has been recorded
These boundaries are intentional rather than a limitation to apologize for. A recorded, experience-based workshop can only do so much, and being clear about that seems more useful than pretending otherwise.
Public Land Only
A Note on Public Land
Every trail, shoreline, and park referenced in this workshop is publicly maintained, whether by a state park system, a county parks department, or a federal agency. Nothing recorded here covers private clubs, gated communities, or pay-to-access trail networks.
That choice keeps the workshop useful to someone with no existing membership or subscription anywhere. Public land access is the entire premise, not a footnote.
